The second annual Hospital-Acquired Infections, New York State 2008 Reporty presents infection rates identified by hospital name and regio nfor surgical-site infections. The report includes infection data for coronary artery bypass graft and hip replacemengand central-line associated bloodstream infections in adult, pediatric and neonatal intensivew care units. The report was prepared using thefedera 's National Healthcare Safety Network system for HAI using data collected in 2008 from 186 hospitals.
